The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture is granting over 4.2 million euros in support to sports academies and training centers.
A total of 4,235,000 euros in support was distributed to 22 operators. The purpose of the support is to develop operating environments for top-level sports, strengthen the conditions for athletes' dual careers and training, and promote the national development of top-level sports expertise.
This year, for the first time, the support has been allocated directly to the operations of Olympic and Paralympic training centers. The Finnish Olympic training centers are Vuokatti-Ruka and Urhea in Helsinki.
- In accordance with the government program, we want to improve the conditions for athletes to advance professionally to the top of the world. It is important to enable athletes to have high-quality everyday life, study, and daily training in sports academies and key operating environments, Minister Sandra Bergqvist said in a press release.

Self-defense is the defense of oneself, one's property, or one's loved ones. Self-defense can involve the use of physical force, the use of a weapon or other instrument, or verbal defense. The law allows self-defense up to a certain limit. Self-defense skills can be developed through self-defense courses or by practicing a form of self-defense.
The European Convention on Human Rights Any person who feels their rights have been violated under the convention by a state party can take a case to the court. Judgments finding violations are binding on the states concerned and they are obliged to execute them. The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe monitors the execution of judgments, particularly to ensure payments awarded by the court appropriately compensate applicants for the damage they have sustained. In its seriousness, the European Convention on Human Rights permits the taking of the life of an aggressor as a result of the use of force strictly necessary to defend anyone from unlawful violence, to effect a lawful arrest or to prevent the escape of a person lawfully deprived of his liberty, or to suppress a riot or insurrection by lawful means.
The terms self-defense, martial arts, and combat sports describe sports that are intended to teach skills that a person can use either for self-defense, i.e., to defend themselves from physical attack, to carry out an attack, or to compete in a sport.
The terms are vague, controversial, and partly parallel; below is a rough breakdown of the differences between the terms. Many sports contain features of all or some of the terms' definitions. Each sport itself usually defines more precisely the purpose of the sport and the ideology on which the sport is based.

The ultimate goal of martial arts is to injure, often even kill, an opponent. Martial arts are essentially part of the history of warfare, and many martial arts techniques, including sword and spear techniques, remain. Many countries still teach some form of martial art in their armed forces.

The company's shareholders and management team candidates may attend the announced general meeting. Business partners are expected to follow Stargames´ practices by the guidelines.
The views of the management team of Stargames are taken into account in the company's board work and, if necessary, Stargames company shares can be offered in a directed share issue to partners for subscription and purchase. The partner can participate in the Annual General Meeting if the partner acquires the company's shares in a directed share issue arrangement. There, the new shareholder can vote on matters according to the articles of association.
Partners interested in an internationally directed share issue can contact us electronically at stargames@stargames.fi or through the doctoral program.

Traditional Finnish Christmas music performed in Finnish. The composition is a 2001 musical production by Martti Syrjäniemi. The song "Taas on joulu, laulu enkelten" is written by Marjut Vannas. The song is performed by Aatu Wirtanen accompanied on piano by Maria Wirtanen at Messukylä Church, Tampere, Finland.
