Juhana "Johnny" Raitanen has been joined by investor Jyri Wirtanen, who was invited to help Raitanen take his motorsport career to the next level. "Raitanen is a multi-talented individual who deserves a place behind the wheel of a Toyota in the Rally2 class and in the World Championship," says Wirtanen. "When the driver knows his job, the manager only takes care of the cooperation, financing and information behind the scenes. The goal is to have fun and enjoy the joy of motorsport. We are still looking for partners for Raitanen's races for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The goal is to drive several World Championship races in Europe and a little further afield next year."

The Johnny R. product concept will also be launched at the Jyväskylä World Rally Championship, which will help Finnish talents finance their motorsport careers. Raitanen's Toyota sports a tiger on the bonnet and sides, which will also be seen in other motor racing series in the future. The new concept offers Johnny R. Racing drivers and support staff lifestyle products, textiles and service ideas, the proceeds of which are directed towards the drivers' racing activities. Johnny R. Racing is already participating in the BMW Xtreme Race class of the Finnish Racing Championship this season.

The Vetomies Rally uses vehicles whose international classification has ended, and there is no class available for them in the World Rally Championship.

The vehicles at the beginning of the race (numbers 201-209) are so-called standard cars, i.e. V1600 vehicles. They are followed by those competing for the 2WD Vetomies title (numbers 210-258), after which the 4WD Vetomies competitors (numbers 259-269) are allowed on the route.

Although the Vetomies Rally is only two days and consists of nine special stages, the rally is still surprisingly long. In a long race, technical failures are always possible, so anything can happen during the rally.
