Alana Renée Blanchard (born March 5, 1990) is the daughter of American surfer Holt Blanchard. Blanchard designs Rip Curl models, swimwear, but is currently dealing with a line of wetsuits specifically for surfing. She was a model for Rip Curl and MyBikini and a designer of her own line of swimwear made specifically for surfing. Alana is best friends with surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm to a shark in 2003.
